Health
Screenings & Education

Health.gov defines screenings as medical tests that doctors use to check for diseases and health conditions before there are any signs or symptoms. Screenings help find problems early on, when they may be easier to treat.

Routine screenings are highly recommended and are proven to act as an early detection for several diseases.

  • Blood pressure checks

  • Cholesterol tests

  • Depression screenings

  • Diabetes screening

  • Eye exams

  • Mammograms

Blood pressure (heart.org).png

"Only 48% of adults between 50 and 80 years old that have a history of hypertension or HBP regularly check their blood pressure at home or other places."

TGF organizes health screenings and seminars for adults 50 and older. At these community events we screen for various diseases with a focus on early detection and patient centered health literacy.

Our goal is to perform routine testing and teach all our participants how to conduct routine checkups at home.
