What is TGF?
The Gbleehai Foundation, TGF, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that implements initiatives in the areas of public health and international community development. We aim to provide education and resources that allows the elderly in our community to take charge of their health with an emphasis on early detection and prevention.

Who do you work for?
We work for the most vulnerable in our communities, the elderly and those without access to adequate health facilities.

How did you get started (and when)?
We got started when members of the community, with over 20 years of healthcare experience, decided to take a different approach to creating sustainable initiatives to address the public health crisis that has plagued certain demographics in the world.

Where does my money actually go after I donate?
You can rest assured that your donations are valued and respected at TGF. We have created safeguards to ensure that from the moment your donation is made to the time that it is distributed into a projects account, there have been several accounting protocols to ensure maximum impact.
One of the safeguards that we have implemented at TGF is maximum transparency. Please take a look at our Accountability page to view our internal controls and other policies that we have implemented to prevent fraud, misrepresentation, embezzlement, and abbreviation of funds.

How do you decide the Hospital facilities that you provide donations to?
International facilities are encouraged to apply with our office where our team conducts a review of their application and their facility to match our available equipment with the facility which would make the greatest impact.

How many facilities do you work with each year?
The amount of facilities that we can provide equipment to depends on the generous donations of organizations and individuals such as yourself. There are thousands of underdeveloped facilities and we aim to fulfill each application that we receive as long as there is equipment available.
Is my gift tax-deductible? How can I get a tax receipt?
Yes, as a 501(c)(3) organization any donations, both financial and in-kind, made to TGF qualifies as tax-deductible. When we receive your donation you will receive a donation receipt from our finance department that you can use for your annual tax filing.
Please view the chart on our Donations page to see our process and timeline of how we accept and process your donations.

87-1110968

What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Most donations aren’t eligible for return. Donations may be eligible for mandatory refund If the donor and donee agree to stipulated terms for the said donation and the donee violates the terms of that agreement.
For example, if a donor agrees to donate based upon the agreed terms that their donation will go to a specific program or initiative or facility and the TGF, instead, directs that donation to another program or initiative (within their control) TGF may be legally obligated to return the donation.

Where do you help?
We currently run programs across the United States and West Africa with our headquarters in Maryland, USA.
